Our priority has always been the reptile, not the furniture. Backgrounds are made to the enclosure, then adjusted for how that animal basks, hides and climbs. Ten-plus years at the bench. Reptile keepers for longer than that.

Prices, options and the basket still live on lizardheaven.shop. This page is the new front door while we finish the rest.

    Shaped around the animal

    Before a piece is made we ask about the species, the size of the viv, and how that reptile actually lives — shy, climby, or always out on show.

    A wall that works

    The rock texture holds heat, shrugs off water, and gives them somewhere to climb, bask and shed. Rough faces help with claws and femoral pores.

  3. 03

    Made by hand, to the box

    Full backgrounds, sides, stand-alone hides and slate basking shelves. Pieces over a metre ship in sections with a simple assembly kit.

A habitat, not a sticker on the glass

  • Heat stays where the basking spot needs it.
  • A light spray holds humidity without soaking the walls.
  • Deep ledges give real gradients, not one flat temperature.
  • Safe materials, chosen so they do not grow mould.

Drago, Greg, Happy and Spark — the beardie, the leos and the crested gecko at home — still test the ideas before they leave the workshop.

How an order goes

    Tell us the viv

    Species, length, height and depth. Photos of the enclosure help.

  2. 2

    We build the rock

    Ledges, caves and climbs planned for that animal, not a generic mould.

  3. 3

    Painted and sealed

    Hand finished, water repellent and mould resistant for arid or humid setups.

  4. 4

    On its way

    Usually out within 28 days. Sooner when the bench allows.
